For clubs. For race centers. For event organizers. And maybe for you. Both new systems, the 400 with four lanes and the 600 with six lanes are, as the 300, module systems. The difference to the 300 is the rail shape. With the 400 and the 600 it is possible, for the first time, to build a wooden track the same way as you would build a plastic track, in always changing layouts. No special parts are needed to finish a track. But with all existing parts, fitting into each other, thus resulting in a multitude of attractive tracks.
The ramps are an additional plus, they allow to build lower crossings as well as elevated crossings.
The race track libraries of the 400 and 600 contain, from the very beginning, a huge amount of curve radiuses with opening and closing curves. To be sure, we will continually extent our offer of track sections, the same way we do already with the 300. The extendibility of module systems is one of their mayor advantages. The systems are variableThe following examples are all build with the same "small" set. But a lot more race track layouts are possible with the modules of the sample set. The system fits easily into different spaces without any problem. And inspires to always new race tracks. You can download the sample with all required space details as PDF here.
Are you eager to play with the system? We have a PDF with all available track parts, inclusive the details of the radiuses with the ratio of 1:10. To download please click here. Diversity of curvesAs more different curve radiuses a system has, as more fun it is playing it. With the seven different curve modules, of the two systems, you can design a diversity of many, many curves. Here is a still incomplete selection of potential 180-degree-curves. Pleasant FeedbackWe´ve got a pleasant feedback from the Billund Slot Car Club: We are very happy with our Slotfire track. We have had official opening and also invited other slotcar clubs to come and race on the track - even from as far as Copenhagen (3 hour car ride). They have all stated that "this is the best track in Denmark" as the quality of the track the bridges and the different corners we have made makes it a track where you have to drive the car around the bends and corners. This is from people who have made their own wooden tracks. And because of that we have been asked to have several events and probably the final race for both 1/32 and 1/24 scale cars in Denmark. That is as big a vote of confidence and approval as is gets! We have been asked, from a Danish Audi team DTM and Le Mans) driver about the possibility to use the track for events. That would be the ultimate acknowledgement of the track and the club. So we are crossing our finger and hoping that it will be a reality. Thank you for the superb quality of the track and all the electrics this is most recommendable. It took us about 1,5 hour to assemble the track and host it up on the platforms which were needed for the part of the track which is raised. This is another sample of a well thought product with an easy assembly. We do today only supply the current in the place you have made - the old Scalextric track were supplied for every 2 meters and we still experienced current fall out. This has never happened on the lotfire track which is a vastly improvement from what we were used to. You are very welcome to refer to the website and also to use the pictures. Thank you once again and please let your employees know that we appreciate the track very much. Regards, Henrik PS. Only problem with the new Slotfire track is that it is impossible to get a day of free practice. There is always someone in the club practicing and tuning cars - which is a first for us as the old track, not were to a standard where this was possible.
