"That must work better” - this thought was the first impulse that lead to the foundation of Slotfire. This thought is leading us up to today. During the last three years, we have, with the 300, the worldwide largest module library developed. With the two track systems, the 400 and the 600, we present for the first time, a wooden race track that can be assembled, in a complete variable way, as you would with plastic sections.
All three systems have in common:
• Can be driven with and without a magnet (with stainless steel braid)
• Depth of slot 8mm (0.32 inches), width of slot 3 mm (0.12 inches)
•The modules are, thanks to CNC-shaping, absolutely accurate manufactured.
• The distance between lanes is 11 cm/4.33 inches (apart from chicanes and bottleneck). The shoulder have a width of 16 cm (6.29 inches) at the 400 and 600, at the 300 they are 10 cm (3,93 inches) with additional run out areas of 15 cm (5.90 inches)
• the basis is made of 19 mm (7.48 inches) untwistable MDF, double-sided laminated
•The two component varnish is almost 100% free of reflexion and offers different types of tires, excellent drift- and grip behavior
•The power supply of all modules is automatically established through the module connections
